Hi

Welcome back to my blog 😚

In this video I have shown one of the ways to search for work on peopleperhour.
There are many methods of finding work but this is one that you can use quickly and easily every time you login.
This method provides a saved search that will bring you to the list of the specific job description that you are looking for. By saving the search you will also have the option to have notifications to your email whenever there are new jobs posted that fit this job description, this means you can be one of the first freelancers to submit a proposal which is very important, when there are many proposals before yours you have less chance that the employer will even See your proposal, so the quicker you can apply the better.
You can also save as many searches as you want, meaning you will always know when there are any suitable job posts for you to apply, this will greatly increase your chance of finding work.
You can find this video and more at

Please contact me if you need any further tips or advice and I will try to help.

Till next time

How to submit a proposal on peopleperhour.com

You can find this video and more on my youtube channel.
I will be helping you to learn how tobe a successful Virtual assistant on Peopleperhour, Upwork and other online freelance platforms.

If you need any tips or advice please contact me and I will do my best to help.

This video gives you a basic idea of how best to send a proposal.

I show you that if you will be applying for many jobs then the best thing to do is write a selection of cover letters to suit every job description that you may apply for.

I will be covering cover letters in a future post, so make sure you check in soon for that advice.

When you suggest an amount for your hourly rate, start with one pound and peopleperhour will show you the average amount that other freelancers have proposed, this will give you an idea what the most suitable rate should be, I always suggest lower than the average, this will be more attractive to employers. As shown in this video.

I wish you success on your job hunt!

Till next time

Peace and freedom!

Hi!

I hope I can help you get started with your Virtual assistant business, I have uploaded some helpful videos to youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9arVFweuYvPtUe1fVpUSBA

There you will learn how to sign up for various on-line job agencies. I will be adding more on how to build your profile in weeks to follow, this will ensure you get invitations to jobs that fit your skills without the need for you to spend lots of time applying for jobs.
I am trying to help you avoid the mistakes that I made starting out which will speed up the process for you.

Can't wait for Guy Fawkes!

My favourite celebration in the calendar, it reminds me of my youth when we collected any scraps of old furniture to throw on the huge bonfire we made every year on the spare ground near my house. You'd get arrested if you attempted anything like it today!

I would nick a potato from the house and put it in the fire to roast ahhhhh lovely......
Plus I forgot to mention, Its also my birthday on the 8th just 3 days later so another reason its my favourite!!

More great things about Guy Fawkes:

  • The smell of bonfires and fire works
  • Stick toffee apples
  • Bonfire toffee
  • Fairgrounds
  • Dark nights
  • Fireworks and fireworks displays
Sorry, I digress!! I hope this has been helpful.

Be back soon.

All the best

Tracie

Hi, Hello and Welcome!

Hi,

Welcome to my brand new blog, not only is this a brand new blog ( this being the first post) but I am starting my first blog, I have dabbled in blogging for a few months and now feel ready to "commit" to spending time on it.

I really hope that You will enjoy what I have to say and you can identify with my life as I would love nothing more than to hear your opinions or suggestions along the way.

I am planning to give you all the information I can relating to being a Virtual assistant, how I got involved with it and how I am building on it as my business grows. I hope that I can make it interesting and informative, exciting and surprising!

So, My name is Tracie and I am in England, UK. I live in a quite large city (for Britain) in the west of Yorkshire called Leeds. I am not English however, I am actually Scottish born and bred, we eloped down here when I was 11 years old and settled here.

I now have three children aged 25 years, 13 years and 11 years old. My eldest is a grown man now and my little girls are growing up too fast!! Where does the time go??

One of my missions in life is to give my girls a sense of independence and confidence as females and have always believed in education starting in the womb, so I am hoping/expecting them to stay in education as long as possible and reaching their goals no matter what it takes.

I will share my methods that produced two bright capable pupils as I progress and will happily answer any question you may have.

I will be back soon

Hope you all be lucky and healthy

later's peeps!
